Ashford International Hotel wedding Emma and Joe
Emma and Joe held their wedding service at Pluckley Village church where Emma’s parents were married so keeping the family tradition. The church was packed to the brim for a lovely gathering of families and friends to help celebrate with them.
One hundred guests to the service at quite a small church meant the group shot of everybody was a little taxing but I always have my wonderful telescopic ladder with me. All photographers should have a ladder methinks, it means I can do the big group shot anywhere I like, with the preferred background and best light too. Anyway I digress 🙂
After letting all the guests go onto the reception I photographed the newlyweds around the church grounds. Then off to the Ashford International Hotel for the reception. With one hundred guests for the day and another one hundred extra for the evening the Ashford International is one of the few venues I can recall who can accommodate these numbers.
I’ve been to the International many times in the past mainly to business functions but I have literally never seen the room look so nice. Beautifully decorated and appointed, it reminded me of some big London weddings I’ve shot, those nice ones that overlook the Thames 🙂
