Julia got ready at her mum’s place in Chatham literally just around the corner from where the ceremony was to be held at St Stephen’s. Julia and her bridesmaids travelled to the church in a stunning 1965 Ford Mustang which held with the American theme for the big day.Julia and James had met at aged 14 and had been childhood sweethearts ever since and have been together for 10 years. They both share a love for Country music and actually met at a Country music club.
All the bridesmaids and groomsmen wore cowboy boots, the place names were sheriff badges and all things were American.
After the service it was up the Crematorium to lay some flowers down for Julia’s Nan’s. We also made an attempt to pop up to the Bluebell Viewing Point to release some balloons for some shots but it was unbelievably windy so was abandoned.
Then reception was held at the barn at Aylesford Priory. A new venue for me and a lovely barn too.
